Readable research summaries
CTC designs and produces clear, plain-English summaries of research results in one- or two-page formats tailored to the needs of each customer. Aimed at practitioners, managers and stakeholders, these short summaries use story-telling narrative, photos, and quotes from the investigator and project manager to communicate the reason for the research and its value to the department. CTC also produces companion video research briefs, illustrating the research message with interview footage and narration intercut with videos and still photos. To support the creation of these briefs, CTC developed a short video recording checklist to serve as a guide for agencies and interview subjects alike.
